Our Solution

An integrated freshwater supply platform

ATLA never buys or sells water. Water stays with the local authority, who set access and pricing for communities. ATLA provides the infrastructure services that make supply chains economically viable.

Resource extraction

Offshore freshened groundwater

ATLA identifies, studies, and develops offshore freshwater aquifers — assembling the full project partnership from geoscience through to offtake. The development process mirrors offshore oil and gas: seismic interpretation, well planning, drilling, subsea infrastructure, offshore production, and pipeline or tanker delivery to shore.

Water ownership remains with the local authority or resource owner throughout.

Offshore rig and offshore platform developing a deep groundwater aquifer beneath the continental shelf, with a pipeline carrying produced water to shore

Deep groundwater layers discharge under a continental shelf and are developed with standard offshore methods.

Bulk transport

Water shuttle and virtual pipeline

Cleaned chemical and oil tankers repurposed as freshwater carriers, with ATLA’s proprietary mooring and loading systems enabling flexible loading from multiple locations. Connects water-surplus regions to water-deficit markets.

The water remains the asset of the supplying authority throughout.

ATLA SMART water tank

ISO-compatible 20ft container tanks with embedded IoT monitoring — tracking volume, temperature, and water quality in real time. Stackable into compact water batteries at strategic hubs, ports, and emergency deployment sites. Plug-and-play with existing global port, rail, and road infrastructure.

The water the tanks carry remains the asset of the authority that owns it.

  • ISO 20ft form factor — loads onto any ship, rail, or truck
  • Embedded IoT: volume, temperature, quality monitoring
  • Stackable water battery — hub and emergency deployment
  • Food-grade GRP composite liner (ATLA proprietary)
  • Plug-and-play with existing port infrastructure
  • Scalable: 20m³ container to full bulk tanker

Lower infrastructure cost means more communities can afford connection. Offshore freshwater: estimated $0.30–$0.80/m³. Desalination: $0.50–$1.50/m³. The difference is what ATLA’s engineering makes possible.
